“If I could give 10 stars I would. Been looking for a good honest plumber for years. James came to our house replaced the expansion tank on our water heater. By the way the last company did not even check that they wanted to charge us for something else. James said good thing he got to it when he did because the bladder broke inside the tank that could have caused major damage. We were not sure if we had to put in a pressure reducing value on main water line. James came out a few days later to do a few more things. He told us he thinks the expansion tank was issue and suggested waiting before putting the value on which is a costly expense. He just put a gauge on so we could watch pressure and if it stays high he can come back out and put the other valve on. He put a new line to fridge as old one broke. He really knows his stuff. I know that we have found a honest and reliable plumber . Thank you James and Capital city mechanical nice to know there is a honest company to deal with. “Honest people. I called to have my sump pump replaced as it would not stop running. When John arrived he checked the float and determined that it had calcium build up that kept the pump continuously running. He was able to get the float to work correctly and I didn’t have to replace my sump pump. Obviously I didn’t know that was the issue and he could have just installed a new sump pump and charged me. I was very thankful for his honesty and integrity. They definitely earned my future business! Good people.”

1. What areas do you service?

We service all of central Ohio and immediate surrounding areas. Most likely we are willing to travel to you as long as you’re within an hour and half of Columbus. Feel free to give us a call to find out!

2. Capital City Mechanical? Is this a car mechanic?

Although the name can be confusing, “Mechanical” is a umbrella term for the various major systems throughout a structure such as the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. We service all of these except major electrical work, where we use the same trusted company to help with all our electrical needs.

3. How much will my service cost?

Many factors go into determining how much a service will cost especially the number of hours, parts, and equipment needed. We will do our best to give you an estimate or range ahead of time over the phone.
